It must have been nice to have something to practice on that you didn't have an emotional attachment too. I'm always afraid to FMQ because I put so much time into the quilt top and don't want to ruin it practicing!

our volunteer fire department has a chili supper and auction every year ...maybe there is one close to you.
I am making 18 inch doll clothes for ours and getting a doll to go with it and maybe they can get a few dollars.last year I gave them a quilt top.
just an idea........but it is pretty and you did a great job quilting it.
