I love the way he is posing with his hands on his hips. So cute. I can hear his say "Are you through yet?

Great job! Good luck with marketing them. Really like the idea of removing the child's name. Isn't it sad that we have to do those kind of things now? Bet your grandson is really proud of his pack and that his Granny designed and made it for him.

Well that particular back pack I made from an ACU top that my husband tore in the field. He was no longer able to use it and it was beyond repair for army standards so I chopped it up. I have seen the ACU print fabric once at walmart but the quality wasn't very good. And it seems like it wasn't cotton maybe polyester. I can't remember though. I haven't seen the fabric sold anywhere else though and it was only that one time. Ask your sister in law if her son has any uniforms that he can no longer wear that you could recycle and make into a quilt. Good luck :D

That was how I got the picture actually! I was trying to get a picture of him looking at me and he turns around and says NO pictures mommy! Turned out to be a pretty cute picture though :) At 3 he has no time for pictures!

Thanks! Actually I am one of the few younger ones on this site lol I am only 24 and he is my baby :) But thanks for liking my bag. And it really makes me sad that he can't have anything with his name on it. :( this was a good compromise
