    Default Some Embroidered Blocks

This is a quilt from Texas, the client embroidered the blocks and put on the sashing and border. She asked for 'roses' on sashing and border. We also quilted on the blocks just enough to stabilize the piece. Our goal was to do make sure that when viewing the quilt the clients embroidery was the first thing your eye sees.

She wishes to bind the quilt herself.

I am a hand embroiderer also. I absolutely love the combination of the two together. The hand embroidery just adds something to the quilt that machine embroidery and a fancy block could not. It makes to my eyes the quilt truly elegant.

The quilt and quilting are beautiful - as is the embroidery! Great job by both!

A very eye catching quilt... very well done... I also like the way you mixed in the blue & yellow, I have been looking thru patterns to use the bright blue & Yellow_ Swedish colors.
