Some more challenge quilts from "150 pieces of Purple"

There were 29 completed projects for our challenge. I posted a few earlier, so thought I'd show you the rest now. The challenge was to use 150 different purples in a quilted project. This was in honor of Kansas State University's 150th birthday.

And a few more challenge quilts from "150 pieces of Purple"

Here are the rest of the quilts. The last picture shows one of our special guests for the day. Willie the Wildcat, the official mascot of KSU. He is pretty adept with sign language--never says a word outloud. Was a fun meeting.

Beautiful thanks for sharing. One of the many I really like and is so not me is the strip quilt with circles.

Just acquiring 150 pieces of purple fabric was challenging enough! Thanks for sharing these beautiful quilts. I like to throw a little purple in many of my scrappy quilts. I think it is under used as a color.
