Thought I would share a few pictures . I found this cabinet at the thrift store on base for the bargain price of $10! There were 5 or 6 of these that were donated from a clinic that was redoing their storage. The middle rotates so there are two sides to store things on. Then if you want to hide the mess, you rotate it again to the flat side. This thing was so huge that it wouldnt fit in my friends van so we had to rent a truck which made the cabinet higher in the end but still a bargain! It took two of us girls, a dolly, and sheer stubborness to move this thing around since it probably weighs 200+ empty, but I love it and hope the hubby will let me bring it with us when we move stateside next year.

The fabrics are my latest additions to my stash. After getting this cabinet and organizing my fabrics, I realized that maybe I should stay away from the fabric store for a little while. I also just purchased the embroidery module for my Bernina 440QE and a laptop so I could use the software, so I figured I better slow down on buying "stuff". Well, that lasted about a month and I made my way back to my favorite fabric shop. They carry such beautiful fabrics and always at 525 yen for a meter on all the cotton quilting fabric. I couldnt walk away with less than 2 meters of each! The pink and purple are just two shades of that particular print and I plan on getting some of them all!

This is a panel I just had to have,. Cant really tell by the photo but there are metallic accents

All the fabrics- All but 1 on the top row have metallic and the bright blue on the bottom does too

These two go with the panel- Love these!

Front of cabinet- has mostly yardage

Beautiful fabrics!!!

When I spent time in Okinawa about 25 years ago, I was not into quilting and therefore didn't shop for fabrics.

I think the cabinets are where the fabric and things are on the shelves. Instead of open shelves or door, the whole shelf unit rotates. Right? It looks great.
