Hilton Head for a sewing retreat, wonderful. I went there for a Bridge playing trip with friends. One of the gals mother lives there. I was so sad that none them played golf. I would have loved to play. Also, none of them sew! Darn. Need new friends, Ha Ha. Love your beautiful quilt, it looks soft and relaxing. Just saw the beautiful quilting, excellent. Thanks so much for posting.

I have been going on this board for several years and just realized today that there are two boards. One is the comments that often also include pictures and the other are all posts that include pictures. DUH!! I just spent a while looking at the picture posts. WOW!! I have been quilting for at least 40 years and am mostly self taught. The pictures of your work amaze me. I am primarily a hand quilter. Since I have more finished quilts than I can use most of them are stored and I rotate them occasionally. I make simple machine quilted quilts each month for our local Linus Project. I also make at least a dozen fleece blankets finished with a crocheted edge for that same Linus Project monthly. I am so glad I finally figured out how to access the many pictures of your finished quilts. I have pieced and even appliqued quilts in my 40 years of quilting but my favorite part of quilting is the hand quilting. I have two finished queen size white on white quilts. If anyone is interested in having a quilt hand quilted please contact me.
