Your blocks are all about memories for your mom and I think that is so wonderful!! IMHO and just a thought, I think , at least on some you could do some captions like the Chef in the yard chair - 'BBQ Competiton' as an example. Again IMHO, done with hand stitched letters or just plain ink pen will do. Again....I can't wait to see it!!!

That is a tremendous amount of work, but it going to be so worth it, when it is finished.
