Great jacket and I like the spicy colored fabrics. Just wonderful to wear something so special. Enjoy it often.

Yes twinkie, that made me chuckle too. Cashs_mom, can you tell us what pattern you started with. I have been thinking of making myself something quilty.
Great jon on fitting the blocks to the .lining.

Thank you so much, ladies. I forgot to add that when I put the blocks on the base, that base is also the lining. I used a bottom weight dark brown sateen for this coat. That way there is less bulk and no need to make a separate lining. You put it together and it's done. Much easier than making a whole separate lining.
