I started this about a year or so ago, made from scraps of other projects. When starting this project my main machine took a dump, switched to another and it to pooped out. So finally a third machine finished this baby. I just kept pushing it aside for other things. The echos on the border is what really turned me off, even though I like how it looks, the time is just...UGG! No pattern, just winging it here. I must say I dont like doing vines. Not real happy with how the back looks but it'll just have to do.

I think you quilt is lovely. Why not quilt around the flowers and the vine so that they stand out on the back. You could do it by hand, using a stabbing stitch, then you could whip stitch over the individual stitches on the back so that it looks like a continuous line of thread. I did this on my 'Trip around the world quilt' and it worked out well. It means that you can use the quilt on the reverse too.
Lovely work
