Thank you for all your nice comments. Those bluebonnets are certainly early. (My husband was driving and I made him stop to make sure they were bluebonnets!) They won't be at their peak for a few weeks. That snow on the dock picture makes me shiver. But remember in July and August we Texans will be lamenting the heat!

Thanks, bluebells are so pretty. My husband and I traveled in Texas, early in the spring ,one year. The bluebells were just so pretty. The redbud tree is pretty also. We will have those coming out before long.

OH leiladylei54, the flowers in Hawaii are so gorgeous. After visiting there, I was so taken with the beautiful trumpet flowers in Maui and managed to find two for my yard. They're small tree-sized-- one gold and one a sun-kissed pink. I thought I had lost them in one of our freezes, but both are coming out from roots. I find beautiful plants everywhere, even in the desert.

Fran, I'm glad you visited in the early spring. Then you seen the wildflowers at their best. I don't have Bradford pears but I love seeing them in bloom. Sometimes we get so used to seeing nature that we forget to really LOOK at it!
