Beautiful blocks! I love the surprise element of stack and whack quilts. Your triangle fabric choice is great, it allows the butterflies to take center stage, but it's not blah either. Good job, well done so far!

The size depends on the length of pattern repeat. My fabric had about a 18 to 20 repeat. We stacked it 6 times and cut 6" strips and then cut on a 60 degree angles and then cut the diamonds to triangles.
