    I recognize that fabric. I made a stack & whack out of it also, but the Lemoyne star block. It's gorgeous fabric. The story behind yours is awesome.

    This quilt is gorgeous. I'm sure he will treasure it and everytime he looks at it he will have sweet memories of her. A special gift for sure.

    That's a quilt that is a gift in so many ways. Your mom did a gorgeous job on the piecing. You did a gorgeous job on the quilting and finishing. Your son will have a piece of history in that quilt, knowing both his grandmother and mother worked on it. What a lovely quilt -- thanks for sharing. It reminds all of us what quilting started out and is meant to be....sharing gifts of love with others.

    That is one of the prettiest one's I've seen yet!!! I love the fabric and colors.
