How wonderful she will always know she is loved by her birthday family. I am sure this quilt will mean a great deal to her. And thank you for thinking of what came out of a horrible situation as a blessing in disguise. I admire you and your daughter and the adoptive parents greatly!
(I am an adoptive parent and our wonderful daughter ( a gift from her birth family) is going to bless us with a new grandchild this fall-so their gift of a child is giving us more generations to love)

Thank you all for your heartfelt comments. My daughter, Amy, got married last May and Emily and her mom and dad were there! I cried when they came thru the door! Amy is a para-educator and is going to finish her teaching degree. I'm so proud of her, making such a grown-up decision at that age.
