This particular quilt took me 10 years to complete, simply because of all the applique involved and life getting in the way. I call this The Rose Window, inspired by cathedral windows. I created a quilting stitch (I call the Waffle Stitch) on the first quilt, and used it again on this quilt around the middle rose. Tell me what you think.

Thanks for sharing your other quilts!!! Your work is jaw-dropping. I love applique and I know how much time it takes to hand sew all those pieces. I worked hard on a hand applique quilt and it took me seven months to complete, well, I've decided the boarder needs some more work, so it's really not done. And, it's a lot smaller than yours! Your ten years was certainly reasonable for this beautiful work of art. What are you doing next???
