Gorgeous. How long does it take to do a quilt like this. Thanks for showing us.

It's GORGEOUS! The quilting is fantastic--she took a lot of time and care with it!

Oh pam ... I love your quilt!! It would be a crime not to enter it into a showing. I am not sure of the order of the shows, but you could start with the county fair if you are unsure of trying to enter it into a regular quilt show.
You would be surprised at a few of the quilts that show up in the small town of reno. Come on... PLEASE!

I am entering it in a show, I have the application and have to get it mailed.

I am trying to find out about my county fair. I've looked all over, even called them and emailed and got no response. I am going to a local guild show this weekend so I should be able to get some info there.

As for how long it took to make, I looked back at my posts about it and I posted my first design attempt on March 10th, 2009. I then posted that I had the center star done on March 18th. A few design changes along the way and the completed top was posted on April 12th. So, it took me a month to do it, another 9 months to send it to be quilted (because I didn't want to hand quilt it), then another 2 months to get it quilted (took her 24 hours to do) and do the finishing.
