Go, Marilyn, Go!
We are out watching some horses - - they got lost in our driveway, and we have them in the burn pasture! waiting for someone to come say, "Those are MINE!" LOL ... they sure are pretty! <wave>

I just signed in onto this link and am in amazement of the beauty of these blocks. I must check out your tut and see if this is something I could accomplish. Congrats on a beautiful work-in-progress!

Alright. I had to stop and lay out the blocks that I had done and see what I needed to cut out still to make the setting blocks. I have all the pieces cut now for the bottom 4 rows. I still have 3 star blocks to make before I can do the top 2 rows.
So, here is chain setting block #6 and what it is looking like so far. I also finally have the setting blocks all around one star block so you can see how the star looks really big. Pretty cool, huh? I love it.

Close up of the only star block that has all of the surrounding chain blocks so far. Look how big it makes the star appear.
