Thank you all so much! I love two block patterns that create a secondary pattern. So when I saw this one, it touched me. The borders will go on today after I piece the last one.

I can't take the credit for the pattern or the selection of the fabrics. I did make it though, does that count? I was reading a blog last fall and this lady went on a shop hop from utah all down the west coast. It was hanging in the quilt shop in costa mesa in one of her pictures.

I started searching and found out that it is Red Rooster fabrics and they have a free on line pattern at thier site. It is called Rythum and Blues.

I just had to make it. It just wowed me.

When I first looked at the quilt it reminded me of Native American squash blossom necklaces that you see in the southwest. Love the colors!
