Very nice. I love the meaning of the blocks. I want to see the finished product.

Here are the next 3 of my blocks!

Wyoming - We go there to hunt and I went there the first time in 2009 and just loved it! The outer blocks are a pale yellow with some rose designs. Then some gold in the center and dark burgandy with some black and the "red" is more of a deep brick red.

CA - My DH and I grew up in California and I chose the colors for this more specifically. The green reminds me of the redwoods that we lived by. We also lived on the coast, so the blue reminds me of the ocean. The sunflowers just seemed like CA, they also remind me of Dh mom.

Memory - This fabric was the focus fabric of my very first quilt. I also love purple. So this is my block to remind me of how I started out quilting and also to remember all the memories I have from this quilt.

I have several more blocks to go, but its fun to see these on my design wall and know why they are there!

Wyoming - the colors are a bit off.

More blocks! I was pretty productive this weekend. Here is cactus flower. I live in AZ so I needed this block :-). Then I chose bridal path. Since this quilt is a journey of me and DH, I used western style fabrics. Next is Grandma's Cross for my Mom. She loves flowers and she is always praying for all of her loved ones, so I thought this was fitting.

Here are 2 more. Hovering Hawks because red tail hawks are one of my favorite birds and I see them all the time. Shooting star because our night sky is so clear I usually see a shooting star often and I like seeing stars in the sky.
