That is going to be pretty. It will keep you busy while your husband is on cruise. Keeping busy helps make the time go faster. My husband would be gone for 6 to 7 months. The first month is the worst. then you set up a routine that keeps you busy.

where would i get the diamonds from? and what size would i use if im using 1 inch hexagons?
Well here is the start of something wonderful. I love to do handwork in the evening while we sit and wath tv...that way i can spend time with the family and still be productive....i am planning on this a being a long term project and will work on it to help pass the time while my husband is deployed...the hexs are all a inch and a 1/8th and i am using all Amy Buttler, M. Miller, and Kaffe prints....ohhhh i just love all these prints and its kinda like old meets new...i attached these 2 flowers together just because i wanted to see the diamonds hehe...but i wont put anymore togther till i get a few more flowers done...i do have 3 more complete that are not pictured.
