Started with a few charm square packs

I decided to make a quilt using only scraps and charm squares that I had on hand. Then I had to buy more charm packs (Summer Breeze IV) and then some yardage for sashing strips, cornerstones, borders, and binding. Somehow it kept growing to a queen size quilt, my first and probably my last bed size quilt!Name: IMG_1642.jpg

I like that strong yellow stripe in both directions. Great way to get it on the bed straight. But also very nice to look at…blue and yellow go very well together in this quilt.

Very pretty. Now I just make bed sized quilts for myself. I have two more planned. I donate or give away smaller quilts now.

Lovely. Did you use the full 5" square in the 4 patch or did you cut it down? I have so many charm packs and this would be a great way to use them up. Thanks for any information. BrendaK

Oh how wonderful! You color scheme is very enticing to me...very happy looking. I have 12 packs of mini charms all from the same line, probably not enough to do this with though. But if gives me an idea!

It may be your first/last bed size quilt but it is a winner.
