    I personally like the first sentence idea here. The black of the quilt jumps out, and then the colors jump out in your quilt. The subtle narrower black border then the colors (I like the broken block pattern you have shown) then a slightly wider black to finish it off.

    If it were mine, I would use either solid black or
    the border on the left.

    Another row of blocks would look good. Of the two options you show, I prefer the one on the left or plain black with multi-binding

    I think the film strip border ( the one on the left) will finish your quilt. It gives the center a chance to stop but not leave a total blackout. Beautifully done. Charlie

    Your quilt is beautiful, I like the boarder with the small squares best. Can't wait to see it when you have it all pieced together.

    What a great quilt! I love the little blocks border, although I know it means more work. Thet will set the whole quilt off nicely!

    I suggest the rectangles, since it mimics the strips in the blocks. The squares look more choppy to me.
