I think a black border would be nice unless you want it
lots bigger.........then maybe also a narrow border of several
of the bright colors

beautiful quilt and wonderful colors! I would use a narrow black border, followed by a slightly wider border of squares from each of the colors alternating with black squares, then a wider black border and bound in black. Or maybe even just a thin border made of the center block color between two black borders.

This is what I was thinking...a small black inner boarder, then a bright graphic outer boarder that compliments the brights. Floral would look okay if can't get graphic....the top is fabulously brilliant

Have to agree with this idea. If you don't want to add this much, I'd vote for a solid black border.

That looks great! If it were mine, I'd put 2 black borders, one smaller, one larger, separated by one of the colors in the blocks. It would frame it like a piece of artwork. What I am talking about is similar to the picture in the link below, but with wider borders.

I like this idea. I had thought about a narrow black border, followed by a piano key border of the colors alternated with black, and then a wide black border.
