Thanks for the post. It is a great example of how you can design and plan a top. Using words to explain a graph paper layout are ok, but seeing it done is so valuable!!!!

LOL klswift, I am not so good at using words to explain things. When I get words, I still want pictures! For anyone who wants to use my pattern, please do and enjoy. If you feel a need to pay something, send scraps and orphan blocks! LOLOL

So far so good, Cat 2 is on the wall. Things are beginning to not come together exactly in some areas, especially joining several pieced sections I am coming up at times with one part 1/4- 1/2" off, but they are working with just a bit of trimming. [ATTACH=CONFIG]612712[/ATTACH]

Love your design work. The quilt will be such a special quilt. Perhaps you should frame your drawings with a photo of the quilt too.

Great start. Drawing out on graph paper is how I do a lot of my quilts. So far so good. Can't wait to see the finished quilt.

What a wonderful project!

In the event she tries to insist on paying you, you could consider the response I have used. She could make a donation of any kind to a charity of her choice rather than paying you. She needn't let you know the amount.
