Great use of the space. I have two tables made of old treadle machines that I keep my machines on. I put the foot pedal on the metal foot pedal area of the table, or shelf or what ever it is, and rest my other foot next to it. Keeps my feet off the cold floor. Put a little piece of non slip shelf liner under the pedal to keep it from moving. It's like having a little footstool.

Looks perfect! I have a very similar stool at my machine, too. It works great for rotating to reach things…just need wheels and you can really go!

Great little corner to enjoy! I don't see the claw feet on the piano stool, but it may still be valuable... it certainly fills the bill for your little corner anyway!
