My order placed at Whittle's on Wednesday arrived today. :D This is just stash building, nothing specific in mind for them. They were all $3.50 per yard except for the Lodge and Lakeside which was $4 per yard.

    Thimbleberries -Lodge and Lakeside
    Quilted Treasures - Parisian Paisley
    Timeless Treasures - Jacobean Arbor

The Jacobean Arbor is so vibrant!

    Hi Pam,

These are great color and scale. I like the parisian paisley collection the best, but they are all wonderful.
I can't wait to see what you will make with it.

    Beautiful, Pam!

I'm just so jealous you get to "pet" them.

I'm sure I'll be posting the designs when I come up with them. I have been hacking away at my stash and getting tops done so I only have one more that is totally planned and fabric for.

I was just thinking that I have made 6 quilt tops since January this year and 4 of them just need the borders done, 3 of which are already cut out! I have a major mental block about doing the borders for some reason. I really have no idea why. Instead of starting another quilt I should take a week and finish all the rest of them.

There is no way I can hand quilt all of them and I just need to get them done by a LAQ. Maybe I can get a dozen done this year if I do that.

Pam--Great stash additions!! You have been making so many quilts this year that you just may run out of fabric if you don't keep shopping too!! I cannot wait to see what you make with them.

Wow.. thank you so much. That's one of the nicest things anyone's ever said to me. I just do what I like and I often see them as common, pedestrian, and un-inspired. Maybe it's because I look at the design so much while doing it, and then looking it at so much while making it, that I don't see them as someone else might.

    Thank you.

I just received an order from them too and would like to thank whoever it was who recently recommended Whittle's. Kudos to you!! The order came in just a couple of days, the fabrics were exactly as I thought they'd be, and the price was so right. My only concern is the shipping and that you really have to order quite a bit to maximize your shipping costs. Oh, second thought, that really isn't a bad thing, LOL!! They even threw in a beautiful fat quarter.

    Black & Whites-oooh la la
Civil War fabrics, which are hard to find at reduced prices, yardage and fat quarter collections

I just love Whittle's too. If you consider that a lot of their fabrics are $3.50 per yard for ones that can cost up to $9.00 per yard, then you're saving a whole lot. I do place large (to me) orders. This one was 23 yards.

I ordered 17 yards for one quilt, including the backing, and it cost me less than $60 plus shipping. I had already chosen the fabric and it was going to cost $9 per yard everywhere else I saw it.

Beautiful fabrics Pam, but I ALWAYS love your choices! And QNC is right - you ARE an inspiration, in design terms and in your perfect execution. Now look out for your head on that doorframe! LOL

Pam, all your fabric is "touchable" to me. You know, when you see something you really like, you have to touch it? I particularly drooled over the Lodge and Lakeside fabrics.
