I've been following your progress and at each step I continue to be amazed at your ingenuity, creativeness and skill at bringing your vision to fruition. Your quilt should definitely be displayed at your city hall so that everyone can see it and appreciate where they live. It looks like such a lovely town.

I wanted a project to do at our fishing cabin over the summer months and one to use my scrap fabrics. I picked up my local town's street directory A4 sheet one day for a visiting interstate friend and looked at it and thought (as I usually do with a lot of things) I could patchwork that. Unfortunately it well on the way to be completed by the Christmas / New Year break where I had intended to sew it, so I have made approximately 100 reversible bags instead at the cabin.

I’d think any town would be very honored to display your fabulous quilt!

If not the council, your local library should love to display it for a while. Lovely work in support of your home town.

What a project that must have been to design. It turned out great. I hope that the council chooses to display it. Great job.

If those council people don't want to display that, they are just idiots! It is fabulous: the imagination and ingenuity, the talent, all the work, the clever quilting and stunning detail. It is a prize winner beyond compare. Please let us know the outcome. I bet we will hear their overwhelming positive response around the world!
