Very creative quilt and definitely a conversation piece...you certainly put a lot of thought and time into it. Great job.

I hope you enter into your county fair, and someone in the local government commisions it to hang in your town hall...or library...it needs to be shared with your town! Can’t wait to see it completed!

Sue, it's a lovely little town and relatively speaking, it was easy to transfer the street directory to fabric. I am quilting it now and putting little details into the quilting, like fishes in the river and ocean, a canoe to depict where the Rowing Club is, a yacht at the Wharf where there are usually 3 or 4 yachts tied up and so on. There will be lots more little details like this incorporated into the quilt along the way.

I love your quilt. It is so inspiring. I can think of so many places I would love to quilt like this, hopefully I can do one.
