I have made a couple of quilts from that site. Fabulous directions!! Any beginner would have a great time making any of the posted quilts. I also like that she has pictures of quilts that others had made (you REALLY REALLY should send her a picture of yours!!).
I downloaded those directions but haven't made it yet. Seeing yours...that may be my next project! Thanks for sharing. I hope your friend feels better soon.

That is so pretty. I love your furbaby. LOL mine are like that too. Everytime I grab the camera I get 3 kids saying CHEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEESE........

How many colors did you use for the strips/blocks? I do not have a lot of stash yet and was wondering how much fabric or fat quarters would be needed? thanks , Cindy
