Sorry to hear you haven't been feeling well. Hope you are now on the road to recovery and will be feeling totally well for Christmas.

I should be fine soon... I started with a terrible sore throat Monday at 2 AM... but it was deep, hurt to swallow but not to talk, so I kept going to school. It didn't get better... I felt worse and worse but I had two rescheduled parent conferences and an IST meeting I didn't want to miss. I feel chilled/shivery, then would sweat profusely (at night) but my temp was only 97.7-99.6. Finally I took Friday off to see my doc. She said bacterial infection, sinus infection, lymph glands are all hugely swollen as are all my other tissues from the neck up. Sigh... I'm on a strong antibiotic. The sore throat left fast--and the temp regulators are back to normal, but man oh man the stuffiness and plugged ear are making me crazy. I'd love one more day off.... but I won't.
But I'll be great by Christmas. Is it soon?

Your students are so lucky to have you as their teacher! You really put some thought into their gifts and try to make them for each individual student, when it would be so much easier to just make them all the same! Hope you're feeling better soon and that your winter break gives you a chance to get yourself completely well again!
