when i first started quilting, i didn't take pictures.. :(
didn't even think about it..how sad. It is so important to take pictures and document them in some way..so for all you newbies, take pictures of your quilts, and document who they went to.
I got a 25 batik FQ collection from Nancys notions back then..and used them..all bright and beautiful. I found the pattern for Sudoku at JoAnns and used black as the sashing. as it looked in the picture of the pattern. i did the lap size .
it would of been nice to see how i improved over the years! (5 years in march 2010.)

Yes, I only started taking pics when I joined the board! Nevermind, I can picture it the way you describe it - sounds wonderful! 8)
I just read your signature line about the terrier and the great dane - I once knew someone that had a Yorkie and a Wolfhound and it's so true - the Yorkie was the boss and had his paw on the pulse of everything that was going on, the 'hound just drifted along in his own world, head in the clouds!

lol! i had my JRt and a Rotty..she was a big lap dog, (100 lbs) and a wussy. He on the other hand, (all 15 lbs of him) was the alpha..he would go around and hip check her, to get her to play and chase him..it was so funny. she passed, and i got another rescue..JRT/ beagle mix..She is now the alpha..and he is not a happy camper! "Karma"!

I have a JRT Dachsie cross (I think!) and I'd love to get a big dog as well - ideally an Irish Wolfhound but Hans, my DH, said if a dog that size was laying front of the fire, no one else would fit in the room!
