    I want to thank everyone for there suggestions. Anymore are welcome so many good ideas. I wish I was more experienced with all this. I am learning a little at a time.

    I think outline/echo quilting around the dresses, and a few lines to give the dresses some texture such as vertical lines to show the folds in the skirts, etc.

    I agree - I would stitch in all the details of the dresses and then make some lines to give texture to the dresses, but not too much quilting. I don't believe in heavy quilting, but I would flatten the white with a bit of all over quilting and then I would outline the sashes and the cornerstones.

    if you don't do free motion quilting, instead of trying a meander or stippling, do echo quilting around the ladies. that always looks great!!

    I took my quilt to the quilters today. I can't wait to get it back. I will post it on here when all done thank you for all your suggestions. I went with the echo pattern.

    I would do straight lines on the diagonal for the background and then around the girl. She is beautiful!

    Love your quilt. I think I would outline the dresses etc. and the white area do the small stipple stitch. I wouldn't stitch over the dresses etc. Sue
