Thanks so much girls! This is my youngest brother's daughter, sarah. He is raising her by himself. My sis and I try and give her motherly love all we can without spoiling her too much. Her mom is not participating in raising her at all.

The sad thing is, we are older women. We would have to out live my mom by a lot to see her grow up. It was hard not to spoil her, she was born with spinal biffita (sp?) the poor little dear has been though three operations to be able to walk right.

WOW!
Thank God He put Miss Sarah in your family, huh!?!
Don't worry about how long you will have to live. Just live until you die and that will give brother and niece more strength and encouragement than you will ever know.
Have you gotten in touch with the Shriners for help for Miss Sarah?
I suppose I am asking too many questions, but the Shriners LIVE to help children with her type of disability/birth injury - - if I remember correctly.

Think back through your life and all of the early memories you have ... and, how many of them live in your heart today - - and you will understand how important you are to your special niece TODAY ... not, fifteen years from now.

My goodness girls ... this is a surprise ... Ha ha ha ... This was way back in the archives. I have one more of those little sunbonnets in my UFO's gwyn, if you want it, to make your own. Just let me find it and give my your addy, ok? You sweet woman.. I am thrilled you like it.

Sarah really enjoys it too.
