    This is a quilt I'm making for my DGD's first birthday next month. This is my first applique project. I'm ready to sew the blocks together but am sort of toying with the idea of adding white sashing between the blocks. I think I like it better without sashing but wanted to get your opinions. The reddish color in the picture is actually orange.

    I love it. You did a great job. I for one vote for no white sashing, I like the 4 corners meeting up. Love the colors

    I also am against adding white sashing. Think it will look great as is!

    IMHO, do it the way you laid it out. Your granddaughter will surely enjoy this quilt, whatever you do with it.

    I think it is beautiful the way it is. Sure doesn't look like 1st timer. You have done a great job, be proud of yourself.
