    Timeless pattern..no sashing gets my vote. Its gonna be sweet when finished.

    Adorable. I have a new grand daughter too and this is one I feel I need to make her in the not too distant future. Made a SBS quite some time ago now but gave it away for auction purposes for breast cancer.

    I don't think you need anything else on this lovely quilt. If you want it larger, then add another row of Sue. The way it is now it's a real classic and your daughter will love it for many years.

    A really sweet quilt. I don't think it needs any additional sashing, it looks perfect as is.

    Thanks for all your kind comments. I just finished sewing it together without any sashing, and I do like it just fine. I made a piano key (I think that's what it's called) border with all the colors that were in this group of fabrics, so I'll add that tomorrow. I will post again when it's finished.
