Default Super hero grandboy quilt

I was looking through the fabric department at Wal-mart one day last summer and turned to see my 6-year-old grandson standing at the cutting table - with a bolt of fabric set carefully on the table in front of him. I didn't know I was getting Super Hero fabric that day, but what's a Grammy to do? This is a twin-sized quilt. I put generic fabric on the back in case he wants a more serious look one day. Party in the front and business in the back, right? There are at least 3 different red fabrics in there and about the same of the multi-polka. I would run out of something and dig until I found something else. Works for me!

So very neat that he was able to visual a use of the fabric. My 4 year old great nephew was trying to get his mother to make him a Star Wars blanket, she actually took a picture of him carrying it around the store. So I made him a quilt to use while watching TV. He was thrilled and I am sure your grandson was just as thrilled.

Wow! Fantastic Grandma you are! I think it is neat that he felt like he could ask you for such a quilt and you are a sweetie for doing it. I'm sure he will love it for a long, long time!

Thanks for sharing!

You think they don't notice what you do until something like this happens. What a great Grandma you are and super superhero quilt!
