Ooohhhh, I loved this quilt. It was my very first one 30 plus years ago when my oldest was born. I asked every woman in my family and my husband's family for some piece of fabric for it. They sent me shirts, skirts, handkerchiefs, gloves...you name it. Now it sits on the small bed by grandbabies use when they visit.

Really! Really! Really! Cute Quilt. What a great Idea. I would like to make one. Is the patten one that is currently available? Love that it has all the info embroidered on it. What a great job you have done.

You have inspired me to make this quilt.Thankyou.
Did you hand stitch the clothing to the quilt?Any other tips gratefully received.

No, I machine appliqued the clothing on. I was trying to get it all done relatively quickly so I could send it quickly. It was a last minute thing and I still have another baby quilt to make for a baby shower in just a little over a month.
