    I think its very pretty, you did a nice job on it, and hey you made an original.. nothing wrong with that. sometimes playing around like that, makes the quilt prettier than the pattern.. so hey be proud.. you are the only person who has a quilt like that. I would enter it in a contest.. as an original... your own design. good luck

    What if you put a decorative stitch down one leg of the white in black. I don't think I would ripit apart. olors are great.

    Think about something round to offset the hard right angles - something like a very quick fused flower with a pretty center spot - right over that intersecting point.

    That should break it enough and draw one's eye from the angles to the rounds that no one would ever guess. And THAT's how we get new patterns.
