    Very pretty. I'm sure your Mom will love it. I made several of these for my Mom. She was always cold and these were warm and comfortable for her. Keep up the good work.

    The jacket is so pretty. Are these hard to make for a beginner?

    Perhaps the next time you make one you could use a french seam? You could also use binding on the seams?

    I was a little concerned about the size otherwise I would have used French seams. Since it is summer I could not find a sweatshirt to buy and had to make do with one from my closet.

    Thank you! It's hard for me to say if it would be hard for a beginner. It is a combination of quilting and garment sewing. You could probably do it!
