And that inside pocket is one that I've added to some of my shopping jackets. I think it is far safer that way. Jail/prison guard son and daughter say that pick pocketing is getting worse nowadays, with all the job losses and Christmas coming up.
Many years ago, I was the victim of a purse snatching at Christmas time. Had my two small children with me in a local store's parking lot. I have the habit of dropping my car keys in my pocket. After my purse was gone, that made it possible to drive home. This was way before cell phones. And perhaps prevented my car being stolen also?!

You may have to boot it again LOL I have not made anything for myself in so long I don't remember when... :) I really like the way yours turned out, is it really warm?

Spudgm and T-bones mom: If you can piece, you can make this. You just cut the patches to the sizes in the pattern, piece them, and join them in the set arrangement. Cut your sweatshirt apart at the seams and take off the sleeve and bottom ribbing. I left it joined at the shoulders, but pattern said to cut them apart also. Lay out the pieces on your "quilt top", and cut out. I did stitch in the ditch to attach to the sweatshirt. That was time consuming as many thread changes. I might use invisible if I did it again. Then you reassemble the sweatshirt and add the bindings of choice. Try it and give yourself a gift. I am certain you deserve it!!!

LOL!! Been too warm here in MI to even try to wear it. Unfortunately, the time will come soon. I don't like really heavy jackets, so will probably wear this until snow flies!!

great idea on the seams, will have to try something on my next one, scheduled for the first of the year; black and white, already have the black sweatshirt and the fabrics.
