    Both are wonderful but the purple and aqua one is stupedous. You did a great job on both of them.

    Hmmm, since I really loved them both I had to flip a coin to make the decision for me. The flip winner was granny squares and it needs to be displayed in my home as you don't have a recipient. Both are equally beautiful.

    I think both are great. I love the numerous blocks in the granny squares, but also like the boldness of the modern one. Great color choices for both. Thanks for sharing.

    Both quilts are just lovely. The granny square reminds me of the afghans my mom use to make using up her scraps of yarn.
