Thread: Taa Daa ! Finished my brother's birthday present - glass bottom boat

    it's only a few weeks late! just have to make the label and send it.

    he loves to scuba dive so i just couldn't pass up the fabric when i saw it!



    oh, i almost forgot . . . here's the back. someone had posted the site showing how to make the pockets for the dowel rod! thanks! i love doing it this way!

    Love your quilt!!! And I'm sure your brother will too. It reminds me of walking through the Aquarium in Chicago or Chattanooga. (those are the only two I've been to :wink: ) It's a very cool and calm qult. Great job :thumbup: :thumbup: :thumbup:

    That is a way cool quilt idea! Could you please tell me who the fabric maker was? I might like to make one for a granddaughter who just loves to watch the aquarium tropical fish. You came up with a VERY super idea - hope you would not mind sharing.

    Wonderful quilt! I still have plans to do an attic windows wall hanging. Also, I've used that doweling/pocket technique too, and it works great!
