My mom comes to me yesterday with some scraps and says "Can you whip me up a table runner for me by Thursday?"!!!!! Oh well, I wanted to do it as a quilt as you go and have the general idea how to do it, just need to get the placement right before I start.

Is there a pattern for this. I've seen it in a few pictures. My kids love the runners I make from stirpes but this is neat.

Very easy. I've had all the beginners in our local group making them like crazy since before Christmas. You can never have enough quick fixes!

I found one pattern at http://cowbellespatchwork.blogspot.c...r-pattern.html

Looks simple enough and really pretty. I like the choice of colors.

This pattern is so easy to do! I whipped one out in a night. It took longer to quilt the darn thing than to piece it. (I hand quilt)

Very easy, had to find something very easy and something that didn't require too much fabric. I could have had it all done last night, but Monday night is good t.v. night!!!

Very nice. I think this would lend itself to a quilt as you go technique very easy. This is similar to the table runner on quiltbus.

LOL... Mom's are good for things like that. When my mom was alive, she used to send me all her alterations she needed done.
    I sure miss her.

You are doing a great job on her runner. She is going to be happy with it.
