    Your table topper is very pretty and interesting. You met more than a couple of challenges to be able to make it. I remember fondly that my mother admired knitted doilies and wanted to make some. However, the patterns were written in German. Taking the challenge, she learned enough German to translate the pattern for herself and make the beautiful doilies. I still have them and treasure them. I admire your determination to use this pattern.

    It looks great. I downloaded a pattern once that was all in metric measurements. It took me a while but I was able to convert to inches.
