I would love to use this on vests. Bought a book several months ago. I like to wear vests in winter. Keeps you warm and lets your arms be free. Also have you seen some of the posts by Geta. She makes purses using this method. They are BEAUTIFUL

Ahhh...Fond memories....I grew up at South Lake Tahoe. What a great place for a retreat. Love your work. Thanks for sharing the pictures!

Thank you so much for all of your kind words! I love this site! The fabric I used was called "Radiance", it is 55% cotton and 45% silk. Looks like silk with all the qualities of cotton. Loved it and it came in many wonderful colors. I think the one I used was by Kaufman. And I used a silk thread to quilt it.

As far as a tutorial goes I would be glad to do one but don't know what I need to do.

Thanks to everyone!

That is a beautiful quilt. I have never tried that, but I want to. Great job. What a beautiful view you had.

Thanks for the information on the fabric and thread!
For a tutorial, you would need to give us a "lesson" on how it is done. Pictures are always helpful too. Check the tutorial section to see how others have done it.
If you are up to it, please please do a tute! ;-)

Beautiful work!!!
I get to go to Lake Tahoe this summer, it is the only vacaton time I get this year. We'll be in South Lake Tahoe. Love the place but have not been there in probably 8 years or so.
