    Take 5 - Grandma's quilt for baby

Our friend's 1st grandchild is due any day. We made a quilt for the baby, but decided when the top was done to change to another plan. Later our friends decided to do a "Grandma" shower, so we finished this one and gave to to her at the party today.

The quilt measures about 53 x 61, and the colors are brighter than the pics. Thanks for looking.

I love the rocket ship fabric, and washed before I used it.. and it bleeds real bad.. If you didn't use the Retayne, advise the recipient..

Love it. It's so bright and cheerful.
No matter how tough life is, it sure beats the alternative.

How do you quilt together? What is the division of labor? I am so envious. It would be fun if my husband was interested. Your quilts are so great.

I don't know what I was thinking when I made the original post. This is NOT Take 5 - it is Just Can't Cut It. Sorry for the error.

Fivepaws - I usually cut and quilt, and she sews and binds. We trade out some, but she hates cutting, and won't even attempt to use the quilter. I'm working on her, though. Thanks for asking. I hope you get him interested. We enjoy doing this together. Some of the guys on this board make some fantastic quilts. Maybe that can be part of your persuasion.
