I suppose I could do a tutorial... After Christmas, though, ok? I have a whole lot going on now, and I'd have to start a whole new project and take pics along the way.

I am sure this will be a bigger hit than the mariner's compass quilt you gave them and that is no small feat! You are going to be hard pressed next year because I don't think there is any outdoing this beautiful ultra custom wallhanging.

lol, every year it get's harder and harder, and this is only our fifth Christmas...lol!

Plus, they have tons of money, so anything we could afford to give them they could buy something better... it's the spirit of giving, not the spirit of spending. My mother in law LOVES hand made items, one of a kind pieces, you know. Good thing I know what I'm doing in that department!

I might add a few sea gulls ......I think that would really add to it.....especially since the ship is close to land ( left side of your wall hanging)...

It is truly wonderful and I am certain that they will both love it!

I would add a little quilting to the sky too but really just as it is is wonderful!
