    Tardis quilt

This Tardis was pieced by my DDIL and I quilted it for her. It was supposed to be the quilt back, but we decided it looked better for the front. Unfortunately, we had all ready sandwiched the quilt...so I had to re-pin the sandwich...not a lot of fun. It turned out pretty good and the recipient really loved it.

Ok, Terry Quilter, I will ask you this question also. Did your DDIL have a pattern for this quilt? My hubby loves Dr. Who and would really like a quilt like this. Hope you can help me with this ?. Thanks

That is so awesome! I've made a number of Tardis items, including messenger bags and Kindle/iPad covers, blender covers, and a mixer cover. I think I need to add a Tardis quilt to my collection, too. Great job!

Until last year, I had no idea what a Tardis is. Then my 8 yr old granddaughter asked me to make a Tardis birthday cake for her dad. I did and it turned out great. Now if she sees this quilt, she will want one. Nice job.

Great quilt! One of our sons and his family are ardent Dr. Who fans to the point their front door is a tardis. That is dedication. Your interpretation is great whether you want it to be the front or the back.

You did a great job making the Tardis into a quilt. Such an interesting long running series.

This is really nice. My 16 year old wants one for her college dorm room in the fall. The one she designed is rather complicated. I Like yours much better.
