And some folks think bonding is just with infants. Your niece has done a very good job with table runner. Shame on teacher for making a student feel like they are in trouble when a bobbin winding incorrectly can be a machine problem and even if it is human error a teacher just needs to demo the correct procedure. More is learned from mistakes that we make then from the things that go smoothly.

My whole back porch got ripped by Hurricane Ike, and took almost a year to get rebuilt. It's nice out there now, just too blame hot after 1030am to enjoy it!

I'm so sorry your niece got in trouble, my grandaughter is taking home-ec this year, pray she gets an understanding and patient teacher. Wonderful job on the table runner, good to see skills passed done from one generation to another. y'all are blessed to have each other.
