OMG! Lovely quilt! I can definitely understand why it was displayed at the wedding! How proud you all must be!

yes, it is not only my first bed size quilt, (ok, giant bed) but it is the one and only that i paid to have quilted...when i finished the top i went to the local quilt shop and said, ok what now...they handed me a business card, said you need to call John Liddicoat and he will take good care of you...I called, with only 3 weeks left before the wedding...John did take very good care of me, he did a beautiful job on this quilt, and then told me how to make my binding and get it bound...i was still finishing the binding the morning of the wedding...
it cost me soooo much to have it quilted that i decided if i was to ever make another quilt i better find a way to buy my own quilting machine, so i did, now i can make as many as i want without worrying about it
My daughter is bringing me the quilt tonight so i can get it ready to enter in this year's quilt show that our guild puts on, so i will get some better pictures (and close-ups).
thanks for all the compliments!
