    Default Thimbleberries Quilt

I have a quilting friend who was downsizing her stash and gave me a lot of her older fabric. Some of it (well actually a lot of it) was Thimbleberries fabric. I wasn't sure what to make with it as the colors of Thimbleberries fabric are very distinct and not close to any fabrics readily available and what's currently "in" in quilting. So a while ago I found the book "At home with Thimbleberries Quilts" by Lynette Jensen in a thrift store and bought it.The name of the pattern is Pine Ridge. At last, fabrics and patterns to match! I love how it turned out, and so did my brother who I gifted it to last weekend :-)

That's soooo pretty! I used to love Thimbleberies, the books, the fabrics etc. I heard they went out of business.
